Event Description
Join the BC TEAL Short Program to hone your skills on Avenue, kick-start your LIT2T training, or to get through that stage you've been working on.
Paul Carter will lead you through a month and a half of LIT2T training, beginning with Stage 2 and moving through to Stage 3. This short program will include live demonstrations of the training tasks, facilitation of peer-support forums, and assistance with hands-on training.
(Participants must be LINC teachers and have completed Pre-Stage 1, Stage 1, and Pre-Stage 2 of LIT2T prior to the start date, contact paul.carter@avenue.ca to register.)

Times: Monday 6:00 - 9:00 pm (PT)
Location: Online
Price: $100 for members and $150 for non-members.

Paul Carter supports teachers across Canada and BC as a LearnIT2teach Mentor, Live Help Assistant, Avenue Resource Developer for New Language Solutions, and Certified Moodle Course Creator. He has also worked on projects for ISSofBC, LISTN, NewToBC – The Library Link for Newcomers, and AMSSA.
- understanding the beginning concepts of using a learning management system
- building confidence in supporting your LINC learners through remote or blended modes
- finding supportive practical assistance and support with LIT2T Stage 2 and 3 tasks
- creating activities and resources for learners on Avenue
